The annual Qantaslink River 2 Reef Festival was a great family-friendly event celebrating Mackay’s beautiful blue Pioneer River.
The day included the Childhood Cancer Support Pelican Push & River Raft Race, Mackay Music River Rocks Concert, Mackay Leukaemia Foundation Seafood BBQ Burnoff, Ergon Riverside Market Trail, ATF Sea Critters Costume Parade, Caneland Central Fireworks Spectacular and in addition, this year the Kids Artz Corner showcased a 2 tonne sand sculpture and sand sculpting workshops!
The day was a huge success with over $23000 raisedfor Childhood Cancer Support.
