Australia’s unique short film festival will tour to Mackay, Northern Beaches and Pioneer Valley’s Pinnacle. Artistic director Jed Cahill, will be offering workshops for budding filmmakers. Last year Media students at Mirani State High School made three films that were screened at the Botanic Gardens.
All films submitted are under 15 minutes long and showcase the best of Australian talent. All films are rated M15+. Bring a rug and a picnic, sit back under the stars and enjoy. In Mackay they will be screenings at the Northern Beaches and the Pinnacle Cricket Ground. As a special treat there will be a screening of the silent film
Ginger Meggs at Bluewater Quay with a live accompaniment by some of Mackay best musicians.
