Performed by the young people of Mackay, Prometheus Days is a surreal trip through time that connects updating your Facebook status back to Greek mythology. Up and coming director Katrina Cornwell, together with writer Morgan Rose have created a new play based on the famous Greek myth. According to legend, the cunning Prometheus stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mankind, bestowing humans with the power to create and evolve. As punishment Zeus bound Prometheus to a rock for all eternity. The play is set in a junkyard at the end of the world as Prometheus lives out his life sentence. Unable to die and unable to affect anything, he muses at the consequences of his actions.
