Access
The MECC has three exit/entry points - north, south and central.
Patrons can use the following entries/exits to access various MECC spaces:
South Entry/Exit
Hall A & Hall B, South Foyer, MECC Staff Offices, Registration Desk
Central Entry/Exit
Box Office, Auditorium, North Foyer, MECC Staff Offices, Registration Desk
North Entry/Exit
North Foyer, Auditorium, Box Office, Civic Lawn.
Artspace Mackay has two entry/exit points - north and east.
Patrons can use the following entries/exits to access various Artspace Mackay spaces:
North Entry/Exit
Mackay Mazda Foyer, McAleese Gallery, Cox Rayner Gallery, Tate Adams Reading Room, Seminar Room, Reception Desk.
South Entry/Exit
Foodspace Cafe, Civic Lawn.
Loading & Unloading
Access to the MECC to load and unload is via Alfred Street. Simply turn north off Alfred Street into Macalister Street and reverse park onto the loading dock.
Articulated vehicles will need to provide notice of acquiring access so that restricted street parking can be made limited for easy access.
